Bassist Paul Gray , died at 38 years of age, possibly because overdose. The body of the co-founder of Slipknot was found dead on Monday May 24, by the employee of a hotel in Des Moines, a city of which is from the U.S. group, in the state of Iowa In a first review of the scene of the incident, police found no evidence of violence, once the corresponding Autopsy will know the cause of death.
Paul, already had some incidents with the police for drug use. In 2003 he was arrested after an accident with his car and sentenced to one year probation for possession of marijuana and cocaine.
It so happens that Gray had recently joined the supergroup Hail, consisting , vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex Judas Priest ), guitarist Andreas Kisser ( Sepultura) and drummer Paul Bostaph ( Testament, Exodus, Slayer ), replacing David Ellefson , connected back to Megadeth.
The disappearance of the musician adds to the recent Peter Steele (Type O Negative) and Ronnie James Dio .
also on 21 May, Poison frontman, Bret Michaels , was admitted to hospital again, upon detection of new brain problems after the end of April suffered a stroke that left him in critical condition.
